New Patients, What to Expect
Your comfort and satisfaction are really important to us. You are more than welcome to ask us questions if you're insecure about your visit. We're happy to help.
ID and Insurance Card
Please bring a valid and unexpired form of identification with your photo on it. (Acceptable ID's include: Driver License, state ID, passport, etc.).
Minors require a parent or guardian ID.
If you do not have your insurance card, it's ok, bring it to your next visit.
Paperwork
In the waiting room, you will be greeted by our receptionist who will get you started on your new patient paperwork. Please come in 10-15 minutes before your appointment so you have time to complete your paperwork.
Initial comprehensive exam & X-rays
You will meet with Dr. Lee to talk about your medical history. If you have any oral health worries or fears, you can feel comfortable sharing them with Dr. Lee. Your comfort is most important, so we encourage you to ask questions.
Next, your dentist will examine your teeth, gums, and mouth, and take x-rays to help your dentist view unerupted or impacted teeth.
This initial comprehensive exam is a no-risk way to learn the status of your oral health, and to learn how our Dental team can help you.
Cleaning
If you have healthy gums, we will generally have a cleaning done the same day with your approval. If your gums are unhealthy, we will inform you of your treatment options and recommendations.
Sit down with our Dental Team
Dr. Lee will discuss the comprehensive dental treatment plan she developed specifically for you. While our dentist will provide the expert guidance you deserve, your questions are always welcome and you always have the final say in your treatment.
Your treatment plan is designed to prevent small issues from getting bigger and more expensive, so it will address the problems that are bothering you now and may also identify others that could impact your long-term oral health.
After you’ve talked with your dentist, our treatment coordinator will answer any questions or concerns you might have, including the payment options available and how your dental insurance works.

Our practice will provide a clear, detailed estimate on the cost of your treatment plan so you know what to expect.
You’re on your way to a healthier mouth
After your first dental visit, you will receive a copy of your dental treatment plan, which includes the price quote for your recommended treatments.
If you have any questions or if there’s anything you don't understand, please call—we want to make sure you understand and feel comfortable with your recommended treatment.
Notice of Appointment Cancellations
We reserve appointment time to properly serve you and our other patients. If you are not able to keep your appointment and need to cancel please contact us at least 24 hours before. This advanced notice allows us to serve other patients by placing them into the time slot. Not doing so will result in a $25.00 charge per hour lost by the patient. The patient is responsible for this charge as it will not be billed to the insurance.
